Alternative Dispute Resolution involves these types of conflicts:

  • Construction litigation
  • EPA & environmental issues
  • Real estate contracts
  • Slander and defamation
  • Insurance settlements
  • Divorce and matrimonial
  • Commercial disputes

Alternative Dispute Resolution analyzes the facts of the dispute. A meeting between the parties then occurs with their best interests in mind to solve their conflict. It is a much more simplified decision as opposed to litigation. There are two other types of Alternative Dispute Resolution. These include:

  • Arbitration
  • Mediation

Arbitration is a method that the dispute is determined by an arbitrator. The arbitrator is considered to be a fact finder. Usually both parties decide on this method to decide the agreement and it cost effective.

Mediation is a method of conflict solving where the parties get together and discuss their differences. The agreement reached in mediation is by the parties with no arbitrator involved. In mediation, studies show that both parties are more flexible and willing to solve their disagreement.

Why ADR? Because having our mediation lawyers will evaluate the conflict of the business and help developed a draft to a resolution. Solve the dispute out of court!
